From 2–8 December, National Grief Awareness Week reminds us what bereavement really feels like. Led by The Good Grief Trust, it brings together charities and NHS partners to ensure no one grieves alone.
For me, it’s a time to reflect: When a client dies, what does the family go through? And do the solutions we recommend truly support them—not just financially, but emotionally and practically?

The FCA recently highlighted delays of up to four months for some bereavement claims. That’s unacceptable when families are most vulnerable. The best providers go further, offering:
